Kerri (cooking)- Every Wednesday we have been learning about the inquiry process while cooking different dishes from around the world. We have also chosen a question related to food around the world to help us find out and understand more.

I am most proud of all the different things I have learnt like what country pavolova really comes from.

2. What did you find challenging?
I found locating the sourses challenging because there weren't many sourses I could find.

3.  My next ‘Get It’ goal is?
My next Get It goal is to locate more sourses because I couldn't find many.

Feedback/feedforward: Great goal Loki but I think you can find more sourses if you try really really hard.

Reading sample

WALT: Fluency - read accurately, with expression and understand what we read.
Fluency: Money truck crashes
An armoured truck overturned on a highway in Rhode Island, USA, causing bags of money to spill all over the road which quickly caught the attention of other drivers.
Police say the driver lost control and the truck swerved off the highway onto the grass and tipped onto its side. Both the driver and the other person in the truck received cuts and bruises and possibly neck and back injuries.
The money was in clear plastic bags and canvas duffel bags and the scene of the accident was soon swarming with passersby but police are unsure whether any money was taken.
A second truck was called and the money was transferred as police supervised and kept passersby away from the scene

Evaluation:
1. What do you think is the best part of the article? The best part of the article was that people tryed stealing the money but they showed integrity by not stealing it.
2. What was the hardest part about completing this portfolio sample? The hardist part was that it all deleted TWICE
3. Next time, what is a goal you can work towards? Next time i can work towards getting it finished faster.

Maths Sample

WALT: Extend a repeating picture pattern using number strategies to think ahead.


Description: For maths this term we have been learning a range of strategies to help us solve algebra problems. 

Task:  Make a short movie to prove that you have achieved your maths goal.
Criteria:
Show, explain, prove your goal and how you did it

Two questions to show your learning
Correct answer


Evaluation:
What are you most proud of and why? Getting it finished because I had heaps of struggles.

What challenged you the most and why? Making the movie because I passed it last Tuesday so. I forgot most of it.

Next time, what is a goal you can work towards? Learn how to continue a number pattern and find the rule for finding the next number.

Feedback/Feedforward: well I like your movie it's really cool but I say you need to work on more discribing.
